ok now i know some of you know what i have been up to and some don't so i'm going to catch everyone up all at once. I started off one day thinking of where my life has been going and where i would like to see myself going. so i started to weigh my options and thinking. I realized that there were many things in my life that i felt were things i needed to accomplish and the steps i needed to take to get there well the last few weeks i have taken many steps to get to where i feel i should be right now. I started off by going in to the Army National Guard Recruiting center here in Idahofalls to talk to a recruiter and that is where my journey started on my way to accomplishing my goals as luck would have it i couldn't have chosen a better day to go in i went and took my asvab test that same night i scored a 72 on that. well i had been looking into joining a ged plus program through the guard and the recruiter was helping me out with trying to get me into the program. after i got my score and talked to the recruiter about it some more he suggested i go to ISU and test out on my ged and thats just what i did so i now have my ged

but there is still more to what i have accomplished and right after i got my ged i went and talked to the recruiter and he sent me off to meps i drove to boise yesterday after i got off of work stayed in the hotel and it has been one crazy day i was woke up at 4 am to go to the federal building in boise to start the military entrance process i am proud to say i have 2020 vision and am healthy as can be and i am a female in case anyone needed to know they do check after that i was whisked off to my briefing before being sworn in my dad was able to be there and did take pictures (i do not have copies of those yet) of me being sworn in so as of noon today i have officially joined the Idaho National Guard i ship out for basic training on 10 june 2008 i will be going to Fort Jackson in S. Carolina for basic and then i will be off to Fort Lee in Virginia for my M.O.S training

i am going into the culinary program so now that i have everyone caught up i guess i am going to go for now i will keep you all posted until i leave. i love you all and i will try to call everyone before i leave and because i have it i am putting a 3rd picture on here for all of you to enjoy since i know you don't get pictures of me very often (and val yes my hat does have jr. on it lol)
